Post Decree/Court Ordered Mediation

If you have been ordered to Mediation by the Court, or if you are just proactively mediating a matter before approaching the Court the Mediator can help you resolve the matter and assist you with the necessary forms.

Mediation before going to Court

Most Separation Agreements these days have a Mediation Clause in them that direct the parties to attempt to resolve any disputes through a Mediator before bringing the matter before the Court. If this is what you are doing then you can simply schedule a time with the Mediator that works for both parties, come to an agreeable resolution and then approach the Court with the agreement in hand.

Mediation after being ordered by the Court

You may have been ordered to attend Mediation directly by the Court. In this case you would schedule a time with the Mediator that works for both parties and is before any deadlines that may have been issued by the Court, come to an agreeable resolution and then return to Court with the agreement in hand. Very similar process from the Mediation perspective except you have to pay attention to the date deadlines.
